You know when you spot one of those pieces in an antique store? The kind that captures your attention and you’re basically distracted from everything else the store has to offer. That was this antique pine wardrobe, for me.
I’ve actually been on the hunt for some authentic antique pine furniture but it can be hard to come by. I’ve seen a few antique pine pieces on my antiquing adventures, but they’ve all been way out of my price range.
This one was so reasonable and I love the authentic farmhouse charm it holds. It actually works out perfectly because I’ve been looking for some type of storage cabinet to put in our foyer for some time now. We don’t have a typical storage closet in our entryway or on the main level of our home so I’ve been on the hunt for a piece that could help out in that department.
This piece was perfect! I feel like it fits with the style of our home so well and the functionality is the best part. For now, I’ve been storing extra throw pillows & blankets inside and it’s helped me feel a lot less cluttered.
I’m definitely one of those people that loves having a “place” for everything and this antique pine wardrobe makes my organization-loving heart, happy. Oh, and my antique-loving heart is happy, too. I mean did you see that wood grain paired with the vintage porcelain knobs?! They just don’t make them like this anymore.
I’m obsessed with this antique pine wardrobe and think it fits perfectly here in this little entryway nook. I styled it with some greenery and blankets/pillows to cozy up the corner a bit! What do you think of this piece? Let me know below in the comments 🙂

What color are the walls here? Is it pearly white? We’re getting those exact floors because of your posts. They’re perfect. Now I’m looking for the perfect off white to compliment them. I think your paint might be it as well. Just call me a copy cat
sarah jane says
The color here is Ivory Lace by Sherwin Williams 🙂 Best of luck with the home projects!

Do you know the history of your wardrobe? I have almost the exact wardrobe and I’m not sure if it’s Danish or English pine. I had bought my wardrobe 35 years ago in Waynesville Ohio. I love it and I hope I could pass it down. Thanks!
sarah jane says
I am not positive but it was listed as English pine on the tag when I purchased it

I have one exactly like it but not the round post legs. How much is it worth before I sell mine if it does not fit the spot I want it for? Thank you!
sarah jane says
I paid $275 for this one. Hope that helps!
