Okay, it’s official: I have a new favorite town…Franklin, Tennessee. Basically every square inch of this quaint town is blog-worthy and full of old-time charm. I thought I’d put together a list of the must-see Franklin Tennessee shops and boutiques for anyone that gets the chance to visit!
When I first mentioned we were making a trip to Nashville for our second wedding anniversary, I received tons of recommendations to visit Franklin. It’s about a 20 minute drive south of Nashville and well-worth it. We spent an entire day in Franklin and had a bunch of time to explore some of the cutest places that the town has to offer.
First stop? Biscuit Love. Ask for recommendations for a breakfast spot in Nashville and 8/10 people will say Biscuit Love. It’s a regional favorite. We popped into this location and ordered up some specialty biscuits and they were just as good as you’d think. Eating some southern biscuits in an old Victorian with character for days….sign me up!
After breakfast we strolled down Main Street and stumbled into a few shops like Anthropologie (cuz, duh), Imago Dei (cutest baby clothes. ever.), & City Farmhouse. Honestly, you can spend hours walking up and down Main Street. There’s something for everyone.
My favorite shop on Main Street? White’s Mercantile. Holy moly. I can’t even put into words my love for this shop. It’s the perfect blend of new ready-to-buy items and vintage pieces that bring out that Franklin charm. Perfectly designed & styled. I walked around this one store for about 30 minutes because I was in awe at just about everything. Can you blame me? See below…
Another favorite on Main Street? Yarrow Acres. The botanical greenhouse shop of your dreams. They’ve got just about every plant under the sun & the employees are super helpful and knowledgeable about all things botanical. Even if you’re not in the market for some greenery it’s worth going in and browsing around. So very inspiring. I ended up buying two topiaries to bring home with us!
Ok, now to the antique shops. This town is full of ’em. The area in general is a bit pricey but if you’re really willing to dig and spend time at it, you can find some great treasures! Some of my favorites were the Franklin Antique Mall (most reasonable prices), Winchester Antique Mall (see photo below!), & Scarlett Scales Antiques. They’re all within a mile of each other so grab yourself a coffee and get to antiquing, girl!
My favorite antique shop in Franklin was The Barn Door. Honestly, I wanted one of everything here. I found a set of stoneware plates, a planter & a stoneware dish. The owners were so friendly and made us feel right at home. We ended up chatting for 20 minutes or so and I will make sure to come back here in the future. Can I get an amen for friendly people & quality antiques?! Amen.
We had the best day in Franklin and I’m so glad we were able to see what all the hype was about. Such a charming & quaint southern town that was just what we needed after a few crazy days in the bright lights of Nashville.
Be sure to save this to your Pinterest page if you have a trip to Franklin on your bucket list! I hope it helps a bit in navigating the best Franklin Tennessee shops to go to. Thanks for checking out the blog today!
