With December officially here, holiday decorating is in full swing! This year, I wanted to decorate our staircase railings for the first time. A few weeks ago, I began the hunt for some affordable and realistic winter garland to drape over our banisters. Today, I wanted to share the garland I went with along with pictures of how it turned out!

To give our staircase a holiday transformation, I knew I needed to find some greenery that would liven the space up. I wanted affordable and realistic winter garland that would look like fresh pine without the mess. After a bit of browsing, I found this beautiful artificial garland from Lowe’s that checked the boxes.
I liked the slight color variation in each stem and how easy they are to shape & bend. Compared to other garlands in the market, it’s on the affordable end.
