French Farmhouse Ticking Dining Cushions

I’m all about making spaces look beautiful, but if they aren’t comfy…forget it. Not happenin’ in this household. I’m not looking to have a “showroom” house but instead, one that is comfortable and pretty at the same time. For this reason, I am always trying to add comfortable elements to our spaces whether that is a throw blanket, pillow, or cushions.
A few months back, I purchased these white farmhouse dining chairs. I am so happy with how they flow with the other pieces of furniture in this room. They are sturdy and solid and aren’t going to be wobbling anytime soon. Despite all that? They are the most comfortable to sit on…😆
It’s really nothing against these chairs since I don’t think most wooden chairs are all that comfortable, anyways. I knew quickly after purchasing them that I’d want to start looking for some cute and comfy cushions to attach to these chairs.
I found tons of options out there but there was one problem with the majority of them; they couldn’t be washed 😔 Look, if I’m eating spaghetti I don’t want to be terrified of dropping a noodle on my seat. It’s bound to happen. And spot-cleaning? Ahhh, do I have to?!Then, I stumbled into these beauties 😍 They are french ticking chair cushions that are machine washable! AMEN, praise Jesus, Hallelujah! They had a few different color options but I went with “natural” (of course). So far, these have held up great and are extra cushy on the tushy….😉
They are amazing quality and seem like they will last us a long time. The tie detail and the tufted seat have me all googley-eyed if you want the truth…🤩 If you are looking to add a comfy element to your dining room, these are worth checking out!
