This Fall, I’m all about simple and timeless decor. There have been years in the past that I’ve gone all out with seasonal decor but this year has been different. I’m loving understated Fall decor! To stick with my vibe this year, I decided to put together this easy Fall floating frame artwork.
After pulling out my Fall decor bins, I found lots of leftover dried stems. This bundle of preserved oats really struck me! I thought it would be cute if I put some of these stems into a frame for some simplistic seasonal art.
First, I went to Target to look for an affordable frame. I found this 8×10 floating brass frame and knew it would be perfect! This frame comes in lots of colors and sizes in case you want to try this DIY project for yourself.
I simply took off the backing of the frame and laid the oat stems on the glass. I did have to trim the stems using a pair of scissors. At this point, I put the second piece of glass over the oat stems & the project was basically complete!
If you have trouble keeping your stems in place, you can always use a small piece of clear tape! I hung my frame on my office wall using a few command strips. I thought it would look so cute in here because of the neutral color scheme!
This fall floating frame artwork makes such a beautiful and simple statement. I can’t wait to make a few more of these for around the house! It’s such a versatile seasonal decor piece that could truly go in any room.
I hope you enjoyed this simple Fall DIY project. Let me know if this inspires you to try the artwork for yourself!
