Okay, so this post is a bit unconventional. I like to keep my blog a spot that shows lots of pretty spaces but I also want to be sure to keep it as practical as possible. This post comes mostly from my own struggles with finding a cute/unique solution for storing bath tissue in our home.

It seems like a funny thing to care about (let alone write a blog post on..) but I honestly have spent way too long looking for a single toilet paper holder at Target and TJMaxx. Where in the world are these stores hiding these!? I had a heck of a time and wanted a unique option that wasn’t cookie cutter or $40 from a store like Anthropologie.

Last weekend, I found this adorable small white shelf hanging on the wall of an antique store. I loved the scalloped detail and overall shape. It was only a few dollars and I thought immediately that it would be perfect to store toilet tissue on. Problem solved.

I mounted this to our existing bathroom vanity using two command strips on each side of the shelf. I love how the white color pops against this vanity greige color!

To my excitement, a roll of toilet paper fit perfectly on this shelf along with a little antique jar. I filled the jar with a bit of dried eucalyptus because every spot could use a little greenery. Am I right? Even a toilet paper holder…

I thought this was such a unique alternative to a typically boring hardware purchase. Keep your eyes open for mini shelves like these at your local flea markets, thrift stores and antique shops to use this way in your bathrooms.

Thank you guys for checking out the blog today! I hope it gave you a little insight into a unique way to display something super practical. I appreciate your support, as always!
