You guys! I finally have grown-up furniture and I can’t tell you how good it feels. Up until now, Eli & I have been rocking my childhood bedroom furniture and it was definitely time for an upgrade.
I can’t tell you how “adult” I feel about this and I’m so excited because I’m actually in love with the set I found online! We saved some money the past few months and invested in some good quality furniture pieces for our bedroom. I waited for a sale (and free shipping) and bit the bullet a few weeks ago.
We went with pieces from the Madeline Collection at Pier One in the Stonewash finish (all linked below!) I love the how this french country bedroom furniture easily meshes with our neutral antique pieces, seamlessly.
Since we have a headboard that we love (here), we really only needed a long dresser along with two nightstands. I spent lots of time scouring the internet to find just the right set that would mesh well with the french country vibe we have going on in our room. I found this set and loved the lighter natural wood-tone and cabriole legs. Can you say, “swoon“?!
Since our headboard is a bit of a beast, we opted for the larger nightstands that the line offered. There is a smaller version of these, in case you’re interested! By getting the larger nightstands we are actually able to use the bottom two drawers as clothing storage since we had plenty of room.
I ended up adding a bit of my own flare to this bedroom furniture by using an antiquing technique that I shared here. Overall, I’m super impressed with the quality of the furniture & the fact that it came pre-assembled was a major plus (Eli was happy, too…)
I truly think this line is timeless and will look great for years to come! I try to stray away from anything too trendy when it comes to large furniture purchases because of how pricey they can be. I’m looking forward to styling these pieces a bit more as time goes on and definitely get a rug in here to cozy it up a bit!
Thank you all for being here in our journey and sharing in our excitement for purchases like these. It means the world to have your support & thank you for choosing to purchase through my links. Every little bit of support on this dream of mine means more than I’ll ever be able to convey.
