Nothing can transform a piece/space quite like a coat of paint. Over the years, I’ve learned the power of paint and how it can completely change the look and feel of a room or piece of furniture. I’ve used dozens of paint colors in our home and have grown a list of favorites. One that I find myself using time and time again is Putty by Fusion Mineral Paint.
I’ve been a long-time user of Fusion Mineral Paint for various reasons. I love the paint consistency and the fact that the primer is built-in to this paint. One less step in your project! Fusion Mineral in Putty is the best greige paint color for furniture or accent pieces. It’s a beautiful blend of grey and beige that compliments just about any color that you put next to it. I have used this color on our coffee table, entryway cabinet & front door.
You can see from the unedited photos on this blog post how beautiful the color is. A stunning neutral shade that gives just enough depth and dimension against light colors. I find myself running to this paint color a lot when I feel like giving a piece a refresh!
On each of these pieces, I used two coats of Fusion Mineral Putty. That second coat really makes the color rich! For our front door, I was sure to apply two coats of Fusion Mineral top coat. I knew the front door would be exposed to the elements and have a higher chance of being scratched/bumped than the other pieces.
Putty is a very versatile paint color and I am so glad that I found it! I am hoping to paint the other exterior doors of our home this color, too. It works well with our white and black exterior by softening the contrast. Check out this blog post to see what our front door looked like before.
I hope this blog post was helpful if you are looking to revamp a piece with Putty by Fusion Mineral Paint. You can’t go wrong with this neutral and earthy greige paint color!

I love this color too! It looks amazing on your coffee table and sideboard. I was wondering if you cut down the legs on the coffee table and if it was originally a table? I have one very similar that I would like to do that to. Thanks so much!

Yes, that’s what I did. It worked out great for this space!

Thank you. Working on the table now. Just need to decide how long the legs should be.
