Small Bathroom Winter Decor

Now that all of my holiday shopping is done, I am taking some time to bring some winter touches to other areas of our home! This weekend, I wanted to spruce up this powder room a little for winter. My goal was to use items that I could easily keep up after Christmas and I think it turned out great!

I started with a pretty clean slate and added a faux cedar garland. I found this garland on Etsy and loved the realistic look and “messy” vibe. Oh and who doesn’t love having decor you can use year after year?! I’ll definitely get my money’s worth when it comes to this garland because I feel like it can go well with lots of different styles and themes.

Next up, I wove in some of this vintage silver beaded garland. I picked up this strand at an antique show last year. It gives a slight shine to the cedar greenery and adds a bit more interest. Layering is always a good thing in my book!

Still sticking with the silver theme, I added this mercury glass Christmas tree from Marshall’s. This one actually lights up and was around $15 this year. Marshall’s, TJ Maxx & HomeGoods have lots of these mercury glass trees in varying colors and sizes! Check those retailers if you’re looking to add some to your seasonal decor collection.

Alongside that, I placed a Christmas scented candle. I love this one from Antique Candle Co! Using holiday scented candles are great to place in small rooms like this because the scent will always fill up the space. Your guests will walk in and say, “Wow! It smells so good in here!”

Overall, I don’t think it takes much to bring some Christmas/winter cheer to your small rooms. Bathrooms are a space I always love adding just a little touch of decor to switch it up without breaking the bank or having to buy all new pieces.

I hope this post shows you how a few simple changes can really make an impact, no matter how small or large a room is. Sometimes all it takes is a little greenery and a splash of shine to take your space from boring to festive!
