Every once in awhile, I like to head into a store and try on my favorites! I think of these try-ons as a fun way to show you guys what pieces look like on an actual person & give my opinions on how pieces fit/etc. I asked my friends over on Instagram, which store they’d like me to head to and the overwhelming majority said Aerie. Last weekend I went to Aerie and tried on lots of my favorite clothing pieces that the store has to offer. Shop any of the looks by clicking the links under each photo!
1. Cozy “Dad” Cable Knit Sweater – I sized up in this sweater for an oversized fit. It’s made of a super soft material & I love the slightly ballooned sleeves. Doesn’t cover your butt, so you’ll probably want to wear some type of denim with this one. Comes in multiple color options!
2. Oversized Turtleneck Chenille Sweater – Basically feels like you’re wearing a blanket. I brought this one home with me in my typical size. Love the side slit detail and color options!
3. Softest Joggers Ever – A basic staple for lounging at home on the weekends during the cooler months. Love the cinched ankles and pockets! Runs TTS and available in multiple colors.
4. Oversized Cozy Hoodie & Knit Biker Shorts – Love this combo so much that both ended up coming home with me! Wearing my normal size in the hoodie & a size up in the shorts. Multiple color options in both. FYI – You’ll want to wear something that covers your bum a bit while wearing these biker shorts for sure! My color option is a bit see-through & they are made of a thinner material.
5. Chenille Sweater/Hoodie & Knit Biker Shorts – Love this option because the sweater material snazzes up a typical hoodie. It’s like trying…..but not really. This one also came home with me! Wearing my true size. Available in multiple colors. (See #4 for info on the knit biker shorts)
6. Comfortable Winter Joggers – Love these! My store didn’t have my size so these are a bit big on me. Size down for a snugger fit. Love the pockets & comfy material. Available in multiple colors!
7. Sherpa Pullover – I’m never going to get sick of the sherpa trend…ever! Love this cozy option. Not the warmest…but a great basic for layering and throwing on when you don’t want to think about putting an outfit together. Other colors available! Wearing my true size but you could size up for a roomier fit.
8. Chenille Belted Cardigan – The softest item I tried on. Love the belted detail because it really accentuates the waist! Comes in a few colors and fits TTS. Could size up for a rommier fit.
