Now that all of my holiday shopping is done, I am taking some time to bring some winter touches to other areas of our home! This weekend, I wanted to spruce up this powder room a little for winter. My goal was to use items that I could easily keep up after Christmas and I think it turned out great! I started with a pretty clean slate and added a faux cedar garland. I found this garland on Etsy and loved the realistic look and "messy" vibe. Oh and who doesn't love having decor you can use ...

Winter 2019 Aerie Try-On
Every once in awhile, I like to head into a store and try on my favorites! I think of these try-ons as a fun way to show you guys what pieces look like on an actual person & give my opinions on how pieces fit/etc. I asked my friends over on Instagram, which store they'd like me to head to and the overwhelming majority said Aerie. Last weekend I went to Aerie and tried on lots of my favorite clothing pieces that the store has to offer. Shop any of the looks by clicking the links under each ...
Vintage Statement Sign
Sometimes you spot a piece in an antique store and you just can not stop thinking about it. I tried with all of my might to walk away from this one but I just couldn't. I like to think that it found me.. Can you even handle it?! It's funny because I wasn't exactly looking for a sign like this when I went antiquing last weekend but as soon as I saw it, it was meant to be. This is an authentic wooden sign with chippy paint and rusty nails galore. I loved the charm of this sign and ...
Men’s Gift Guide
Anyone else find that men are super hard to shop for? Most of the men in my life are pretty simple and have everything they "need". That makes shopping difficult for us ladies trying to spoil them around the holidays! Eli and I sat down this past weekend and came up with a holiday gift guide for the hard-to-shop-for man in your life. The majority of these items Eli has and loves! The rest he claims, "every guy needs" or we thought was just straight-up cool. I hope this helps your holiday ...
Cozy Neutral Christmas Living Room
The goal for our living room this Christmas? Cozy-neutral-heaven. I wanted lots of warm whites and textures for days. The kinda room you want to take a long winters' nap. How'd I do? I'm loving it! We started by moving this wool/jute rug that was in our dining room into the space. The warm undertone of the rug was just what I was going for! To tie into the rug, I decided to add all of my white and/or cream pillows. Anything with tassels, cable knit or buttons. Cozy factor: ...
Cheerful Winter Front Porch
Now that Thanksgiving is behind us, I'm ready to bring some holiday cheer to every part of our home! I love decorating the outside of our home because it sets the tone for the holiday cheer you'll find inside. This year, I created this cheerful winter front porch scene and I'm loving how it turned out! I wanted to use the same white wooden planters that I used during the fall but just swapped out the mums for some winter greens. These were from my local Lowe's store & I love the ...
